David Blackwell
David BlackwellLEAD PASTOR
David came to FCCC in 2005, and is the leader of the preaching, vision, and leadership teams of the church. David grew up in a great Christian environment created by loving parents, and made the personal decision to become a follower of Jesus in 1980. He preaches, teaches, works with leaders, and enjoys getting to know people.
David and his wife Beth married in 1985, and are blessed with four children: son Aaron, his wife Sara, and their children Nick and Mason; son Jacob and his wife Kaylee; daughter Ginny (Mahn), her husband Dustin, and grandson Teddy; and daughter Aimee. David loves music, 19th century American history, and any sport with a scoreboard (he is an avid fantasy football player). Beth loves reading, quilting, and almost anything with an artistic bent (and to quote her, is “very fluent in sarcasm”).
David earned his M.Div./R.E. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and was ordained in 1986.
John McNeece
John came to FCCC as youth pastor in 2007, and became associate pastor in 2014. John leads the outreach and high school/middle school ministries at FCCC. John grew up in a Christian family with loving, caring parents, however he never truly gave his life to Christ. In the summer of 2005, John gave his life to Christ. John encourages teenagers to take ownership of their faith, enjoys helping with construction projects around the church, and loves what he does for a living.
John and his wife Susan married in 2009 and have a daughter, Bailey. John loves to fish, sports, woodworking, and spending time with his family. Susan, a Washington D.C. native, is a Montana girl at heart. She loves to spend time in the outdoors with her family (including the three, four-legged members of the family), and enjoys baking, scrapbooking and spending time with friends.
John earned his B.A. In Christian Studies from Briercrest College, and was licensed in 2009.
Sam Fernandez
Sam joined FCCC staff part time in 2014.  Sam came from an associate children’s ministry position in Helena.  Sam has been working in children’s ministry since 2006 for several different churches.  Sam is the point person for expanding this developing area of ministry at FCCC.   He has a passion for teaching kids about loving God, loving others, and extreme “duck, duck goose.”  The main goal of our children’s ministry is to build a firm foundation of faith in kids ages 3-9 years old.  Sam works full-time as a co-ordinator for the juvenile justice ministries of Youth For Christ/Missoula. Sam and his wife Dayna were married in 2012, and have three children of their own: Trent, Melanie, and Auriella. Sam attended Montana Masters Commission School of Ministry in 2009-2011.
Susan Peterson
Susan joined the FCCC Staff in 2015 as the office administrator. Susan was introduced to Christ as a child, and while she is still a work in progress, her relationship with Christ is what gets her through the day.
Susan and her husband, Randy, were married in 1991. They spent a year in the Bitterroot Valley early in their marriage and then spent the next 12 years waiting for the chance to return. The chance to return permanently came in 2011 and they snapped it up. They have been blessed with seven beautiful children. Susan and Randy love camping, fishing, and spending time with their family. When Susan has a spare minute you will find her curled up in her hammock swing with a good book.
Dan Beard
Dan has been a part of the FCCC music ministry since 2007. He took leadership of contemporary music in 2012, and became FCCC’s worship pastor in 2015. Dan’s full-time employment is in management, and is the biggest NBA fan in the congregation. Dan oversees the worshipping functions of the church, and is training through the Christian Leadership Institute.
Shari Feeser
Shari joined the FCCC staff as the part-time (sure….) Pastor of Spiritual Growth in January of 2017.  Having “fallen into” Youth Ministry in 1994, Shari spent 20 years teaching, mentoring and feeding high school students.  When she finally got tired of eating pizza five days a week, she left youth ministry and found herself miraculously able to have spiritual conversations with grown-ups.  Shari earned a Graduate Certificate in Youth Ministry from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA and is currently enrolled in The Academy of Christian Discipleship at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA.  Shari’s husband Shawn can be spotted at the church either fixing a flooring problem or consulting on the best motorcycles to buy (KTM and Victory, by the way).  Their daughter Julia is a freelance writer living in Spokane and is married to Cliff the Fireman.  Shari and Shawn also have an “adopted” daughter, Molly, who is a Law Student in Minneapolis; Grady and Copper,  the best dogs ever; and Mittens the Eternal Cat.  They live and love in Stevensville.
Brian Miller
Brian came to FCCC in 2007, and has been an active part of the welcoming ministries of the church since he arrived. He was a natural fit to take on the duties of the new Connections Pastor position in 2017, helping people to find their way into the life of the congregation. Brian’s full-time employment is in management, and he is engaged in study through the Christian Leaders Institute.
Brian and his wife Susan have two children, Nate, and Josie.
