Activities and Learning For Children

We offer children’s services to all ages year round. Any time of year, Florence Carlton Church, has fun activities and learning for children. Whether you’ve attended churches a lot in life or have never attended a church service before, visiting a church for the first time is a new experience. And it helps to know a little about what to expect ahead of time. So here are answers to some of the most common questions we are asked when people are interested in visiting at FCCC.

During our 9 am traditional service, nursery and childcare are offered to children through preschool. Your child in the child care area will participate in children’s worship, and learn about God’s love for them in an age appropriate environment. Children above preschool age are encouraged to attend worship service with their parents during the 9 am traditional service.

During our 11 am contemporary service, nursery and a Sunday school program are available for children through fourth grade. In Sunday school, your child will be taught the incredible life of Jesus through skits, audio and visual aids, and solid Biblical teaching. Your child will also participate in children’s worship. Children fifth grade and up are encouraged to participate in worship services with their parents or peers during the 11 am contemporary service.

At Carlton Cowboy Church, worship is designed to include family members of all ages, from birth on up.

Each week, your child will participate in a variety of age appropriate teaching lessons to reinforce their faith in Jesus. Your child will join other children in children’s worship, and engage in fun and exciting Biblical teachings.
Yes! FCCC offers children’s check-in for your child’s safety. If you are a first time guest, please stop by our welcome center to get your child signed up for the check-in system. All of our Sunday school staff have completed background and safety checks, and have been trained to assist your child in learning about Jesus.
