    Alright, let’s see if we can get the ball rolling and start assigning some work to everyone involved with the website. Here is a global list of items that need to be completed.

    1. Page Content – (blue bar navigation) all of these pages will essentially be static information and will not change (much) once in place. I will put together a complete list of the pages so we can split up and assign who is in charge of collecting or writing what information.

    2. Phone Directory – Someone will need to become familiar with the phone directory plug-in (by working with it) and input the entire FCCC directory. Monotonous work but very important to input the information the same every time.

    3. Upwords Contributing Authors – The Post Section “Upwords” is be for the weekly contributing authors. Need to have a training session to get these guys registered and understanding how to post their articles as well as how to schedule them. Also need to create a calendar and assign dates to each author.

    4. “Push” items – We need to plan out and schedule the push items on the home page slider. Each item should have some supporting text and I can create the supporting graphics or photos.

    5. Develop a plan for implementing video steaming of the services and if we should pursue it now. Need a camera, possibly a computer upgrade.

    6. Website Awareness Push – posters, newsletter, mass email, announcements?

    7. Need to find 3 people willing to share their testimonials for the testimonial pages under “Message of Hope?”

    Here’s a complete page listing of all of our pages that need content. Some pages have partial text from our church brochure but these descriptions are very brief and need to be expanded. All pages need photos which I will work with Andrea Mahn to start acquiring these images to help support each pages content and purpose.

    Finally in the back, so let’s have fun putting this thing together! I think we need to prioritize the effort, and I think the order you have the sections in, Joel, is entirely appropriate. We’ve already had someone outside our congregation go to the website to find out what we believe and find nothing there! So the IMMEDIATE needs are to fill in those first three blocks, and the sooner the better! Even good rough draft text will be better than nothing, and then we can refine it. I will take responsibility for getting the Message of Hope section blocked out and rolling.

    There is an All Committee night scheduled for Feb. 8 – will there be a meeting of players at that time to get our arms around this? Or an earlier date? First need to get all the players registered so we can communicate (as our name suggests!).
