Sign up sheets on the Fellowship treat table after church or before church for the 11am service.
• Sign up to either host or attend.
• Let us know how many in your family.
• Hosts please tell us how many people you can have in your home.

Thanksgiving – November 24th

The Thanksgiving Dinner Nov. 24—1:00pm. Call the church office 273-6811 to let us know how many are coming. We had a great time last year. Do you know anyone from the community who could be invited? Ask them and let us know how many to expect. The Church will provide the basics: turkey, dressing, potato (white and sweet), rolls, pies, cranberries and drinks. Want to bring a dish? Let us know or bring something that is special to you for this holiday. Dress is casual.

Fall Bazaar – November 12th

Saturday November 12th

9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Lunch: home made soup, sandwiches, pie, apple dumplings, coffee and tea
Handmade items: aprons, tea towels
Silent Auction: Special one of a kind
Pony rides: weather permitting 12-2pm
Christmas music

Several ladies work for days to set up and clean up the bazaar. This year we are going to try to ease the burdens. As you bring your items for the bazaar, you will be asked to price your donations. We will also ask that you pick up any unsold items after the bazaar on Sat. or after services on Sunday. Hopefully this will not be a huge burden on anyone, will help immensely, and make our bazaar more successful than ever.

Another Sunday School year is upon us. There are exciting updates to our program coming this year. John is working hard on taking Sunday School to a new level with a new modular curriculum and format. We will be meeting at the same time, during 1100 service. We have a wonderful group of teachers returning, but we need additional teachers to strengthen our program. Sunday School is a primary mission for FCCC and an important entry point for both children and parents into our community. Many of us have experienced the benefits of our Sunday School program as parents of children attending or as participants, ourselves. This program needs some volunteers willing to help continue the strong mission objective of FCCC Sunday School. The only talent required is a willingness to serve. Please contact Tom Leonard, John McNeece or Gary Brownlee if you can help, in any capacity.

The Florence-Carlton Community Church will be implementing their first GO GREEN newsletter in September. Please help us go green! To join our electronic newsletter, please email your name and email address to papplgat@florencecarltonchurch.com. You will have the option to pick up the newsletter in the Narthex if you like, or we can drop one in the mail if you prefer.
