Homework Help

The Homework Help Program was started by 2 public school teachers who are members of FCCC.  Students in grades 2-5 apply through the Florence Carlton School and about 15-20 students are chosen to participate based on their need for the program. The school bus transports them to the church right after school, 3 afternoons a week, where they are assigned a church volunteer to help them stay on task with the day’s school assignments.  Snacks are provided for each session which lasts about an hour.  Transportation home is available.  The hope is that these children will experience Christ through the patient and loving help they receive.  For information about volunteering for the program please contact Lois Horsens at 239-7698 or Joyce Schroeder at 273-2114.
