We Believe
… there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
… that the Lord Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully human. We believe in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; that His death alone brings the forgiveness of our sins; in His bodily resurrection; in His return to the right hand of the Father in heaven; and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory.
… the only way of being cleansed from sin is by turning away from our choice to sin and trusting in Christ’s free gift of salvation.
… that the Holy Spirit comes to live in each believer when he or she is saved by Christ, and that only the power of Holy Spirit can give a Christian the ability to live a holy life.
… in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to eternal separation from God.
… the Bible is inspired by God and is the only written authority left by God for humanity.
… that our communion table is a symbolic reminder of what Jesus has done for us. We have an “open table” so that any who would reach out to Him may come.
… that baptism is the first way a believer publically proclaims his or her faith in Christ. We encourage all believers to be baptized as a public way of identifying with Christian believers, and accept any traditional method of baptism by the church as appropriate.
… in the value and acceptance of all denominations which proclaim Jesus Christ as the unique Son of God and humanity’s Savior. We accept all people as they are, without compromising our belief that Jesus is our Savior and the only way to God.
